Suitable for use with fibreglass, carbon fibre, Kevlar, etc., for those applications requiring superior strength and bonding properties, also to produce lightweight fairing putties and mineral based gap fillers and adhesives.
Pot life @ 25ºC is approx 20 minuets, shorter in excess of this and longer if cooler.

Quantities are supplied in 1 KG, 5 KG, 20 KG and Drum Packs – 225 KG. Epoxy Hardener is supplied as 0.5 KG for half of the Epoxy Resin weight, for example 1 KG epoxy resin, supplied with 0.5 Kg epoxy hardener.

Description

General purpose laminating is suitable for use with Fiberglass, Kevlar, Carbon fiber etc. Epoxy resins are generally stronger and tougher than polyesters, which in turn makes them more expensive, however their superior adhesion and water resistant properties make them unique in the laminating/manufacturing industry. They are also suitable to produce lightweight fairing putties and mineral based gap fillers & adhesives. Pot-life: 25min @ 25°C / 4-6hour initial set / 7 day full cure @ 25°C.
